Happy Monday Beauties! Hope you all had an amazing weekend and that you find yourselves ready for a wonderful week.  As for myself, I had the opportunity to watch a few Netflix movies which was super fun and very relaxing, went shopping (bought the Nespresso coffee machine I had been wanting for a while) and on Sunday morning went to a local historical park (Fort Christmas) to just walk around and enjoy the crispy cool weather that paid us a visit this past weekend  and that I don’t want to leave.  While in the park, I got today’s pictures taken, learned interesting history and met a nice group of people that were also touring the park.

Today as you may notice, I am showing a little bit of my midriff area which is something somewhat out of my comfort zone but that I chose to do just to try it out.  I found the floral fringe kimono on sale at a Saks Off 5th store I visited while I was out of town for work this past week.  Fringes are super IN this season so when I found this colorful kimono I couldn’t resist to go ahead and buy it.  Since Coachella 2015 is soon approaching,  I decided to create a look inspired by the occasion.   Instead of wearing shorts, I opted to wear high waisted jeans  to cover my legs from the cooler temperatures.

The beautiful sapphire glass bracelets are from the What Would V Wear jewelry collection.   I was more than excited when these beauties arrived my home last week.  Not only did they come beautifully wrapped but they also came with a lovely personalized note signed by its very talented  designer and creator, Vanessa.  I invite you all to visit her online store and check out the beautiful pieces she creates.

This is all for today my sweet friends. May your week be filled with wonderful moments and life changing experiences.  Remember that when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change:-) With all my love, Jeannette.

ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Hello everyone! Today I am back to work and regular weekday routine.  The past few days were fantastic and I had an amazing time with my family.  We took a short but very sweet vacation with plenty of time to catch up on sleep and recharge.  On Saturday morning I had the opportunity to see my daughter Alexandra compete with the University of Florida women’s crew team against other colleges at a local lake near Orlando and we were more than excited to see her race and win.  This mini vacation was also great for Andrea as being relaxed allowed her to finally realize the major she wants to pursue in college .  Andrea is a sophomore in high school and for a while she has been stressing out about not knowing what to study after she graduates in two years but according to her she now has it under control and is super motivated and happy and,  of course, I am happy too! As for me, I had plenty of me-time and opportunities to rest.  I was able to look inside myself, see through my thoughts and emotions and finally understand the thinking patterns, beliefs and ways of being that, for a while,  have been holding me back and haven’t been letting me soar.  This to me was a life changing realization and a blessing as I now can put my heart and soul into shifting, learning and letting go.  Even though my understanding of life has increased tremendously in the past few years,  I will admit that I still have a lot to figure out, learn and explore and I am open to all the guidance I can obtain from above.  Since I believe we shall pass on to others all the blessings we get in life, I will  be sharing with all of you my experience and thoughts as I move forward in this journey called My Personal Self Growth.  Make sure to stay tuned and enjoy:-)

And remember that…

Life is too short to be little and not be the best we can be.

Today I am showing you a maxi dress I bought last summer at an H&M store that I only got to wear once. I found the dress hanging in the back of my closet while packing for my trip and I was more than happy to take it with me to wear.   Maxi dresses are always IN and a great piece to wear to a casual spring or summer evening dinner during a relaxing vacation time.   I wore mine to go to dinner at a restaurant nearby.  To keep the look casual and relaxed, I paired the dress with a pair of studded thong sandals and an oversized tote.  I also find maxi dresses super comfortable and easy to wear especially when I travel for long hours.  And what about you? Do you like maxi dresses?
