ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Good day everyone and happy Mother’s week to all the wonderful mom’s out there!  Yes, I celebrate the entire week just because one day isn’t enough for me to celebrate the joy, love and happiness that being a mom has brought to my life.  Not to mention the amount of personal growth, faith and understanding I have developed through my motherhood journey and that I continue cultivating and passing to others via this blog.

This week I celebrate with all of you, wonderful moms, the unconditional and very special love that exists in every mother’s hearts; The love that not only is everlasting and very forgiving but is also very accepting, giving and never expects anything in return.

To all the mothers that visit my blog, my love and blessings go to you all.

To all the moms in my life, love you with all my heart.

To my beautiful and amazing mom, thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing me to this wondeful life and for loving me, guiding me and being there for me when I need it the most. Love you dearly.

And to my daughters Alexandra and Andrea, thanks for giving me the gift of motherhood and for allowing me the honor to be your mom.  It has been the most rewarding and meaningful experience of my life.  Love you both with all my heart and soul.

And to you my beautiful friends, thanks for the support you always provide me and for visiting my blog.  It means the world to me:-)

Hello everyone! Today I am back to work and regular weekday routine.  The past few days were fantastic and I had an amazing time with my family.  We took a short but very sweet vacation with plenty of time to catch up on sleep and recharge.  On Saturday morning I had the opportunity to see my daughter Alexandra compete with the University of Florida women’s crew team against other colleges at a local lake near Orlando and we were more than excited to see her race and win.  This mini vacation was also great for Andrea as being relaxed allowed her to finally realize the major she wants to pursue in college .  Andrea is a sophomore in high school and for a while she has been stressing out about not knowing what to study after she graduates in two years but according to her she now has it under control and is super motivated and happy and,  of course, I am happy too! As for me, I had plenty of me-time and opportunities to rest.  I was able to look inside myself, see through my thoughts and emotions and finally understand the thinking patterns, beliefs and ways of being that, for a while,  have been holding me back and haven’t been letting me soar.  This to me was a life changing realization and a blessing as I now can put my heart and soul into shifting, learning and letting go.  Even though my understanding of life has increased tremendously in the past few years,  I will admit that I still have a lot to figure out, learn and explore and I am open to all the guidance I can obtain from above.  Since I believe we shall pass on to others all the blessings we get in life, I will  be sharing with all of you my experience and thoughts as I move forward in this journey called My Personal Self Growth.  Make sure to stay tuned and enjoy:-)

And remember that…

Life is too short to be little and not be the best we can be.

Today I am showing you a maxi dress I bought last summer at an H&M store that I only got to wear once. I found the dress hanging in the back of my closet while packing for my trip and I was more than happy to take it with me to wear.   Maxi dresses are always IN and a great piece to wear to a casual spring or summer evening dinner during a relaxing vacation time.   I wore mine to go to dinner at a restaurant nearby.  To keep the look casual and relaxed, I paired the dress with a pair of studded thong sandals and an oversized tote.  I also find maxi dresses super comfortable and easy to wear especially when I travel for long hours.  And what about you? Do you like maxi dresses?
