About Jeannette Perez

Thanks for visiting my blog! My name is Jeannette, also known as Ms. Jeannie. I am the mom of two amazing young ladies, an engineer by profession, but first of all, I am a just soul living what I call, an unlimited human experience. I have always loved fashion, putting together outfits, decorating ... just being creative brings me so much joy! It gets me in "the zone". A very challenging life experience allowed me to discover a passion for writing and connect to others. Growing up in a very humble and loving home, where resources were limited but the essentials were always met , taught me about home remedies using earth grown resources (thanks mom!) and inspired me to practice and promote a happy, healthy and balanced lifestyle. It wasn't until now after many life ups and downs, trials and tribulations, happy moments and challenging times (and many birthdays too!) that I decided to step out of my comfort zone, overcome my fears and insecurities and finally pursue my passions. And that was when the idea for this blog was born. I don't question anymore; Why now? or; Why I waited so long?... I have learned that there is purpose and time for everything and everyone and this was MY time. It is my desire that you are able to do the same, no matter how old or young you are or where you come from, just know that there is always a way to get things done. All you need is the desire that will connect you with your true self and allow your passions to manifest and unfold their very own way. Once again, thanks so much for visiting my blog. I truly hope that you enjoy it as much as I do. It was created with lots of love, passion and collective family effort. Sincerely, Ms. Jeannie.

Unconditional self love…

10299106_767669036588694_1807026056464035715_n

I recently found this quote from one of my favorite teachers of all time, Ms. Anita Moorjani (author of  the book Dying to To Be Me), and wanted to share with you all. Growing up I was taught that I needed to love others more than I loved myself. That the more I sacrificed or did for others the better human being I was. Believing and practicing such teachings inspired me to be kinder and very giving to others which in every human’s eyes, including mine, was the right way to live. However, not loving myself enough because of the belief that by loving myself too much would make me “selfish” or “egocentric” drove me to lose contact with who I really was. It wasn’t until later in my life that I realized that WE ARE LOVE and by not embracing such truth, or better say, not loving ourselves enough, we are denying who we really are. And you can’t give what you don’t have therefore, it makes it challenging if not impossible for others to love you back. So LOVE yourself unconditionally and inspire others to follow the same path. Not only would this world be full of loving and caring people but also there will be more appreciation, respect and value for everyone and all that exists. Hope you all enjoy this post as much as I enjoyed writing it:-) Love and blessings, Ms. Jeannie.

Following our passions…

Publication3

This quote came from the bottom of my heart and was inspired by my own personal experience.  The message is intended to convey has impacted my life tremendously and is one of the reasons why I decided to blog.  I sincerely hope that it plants the seed in your hearts that will inspire you to pursue what you were intended to do in this journey we all call life. Sometimes "challenges" trigger our minds to create "blocks" or "walls" that  don't allow  us or better say, make it harder for us to figure out what our passions are but believe me, the answers are within us.  Just let go of the doubts, fears and insecurities and let life guide you and take you there.  When you do this, the right people and opportunities will start showing up and doors will be begin to open, one after the other.  In this blog, I will share with you my own personal self growth journey, the ups and downs, what worked and didn't work for me and last but not least the most realistic ways to practice and follow the messages and teachings life masters are trying to convey to us.  Learning and growing never stops, it is constant and ongoing so lets do it together.  Break through with me dear  friends and lets follow our dreams!   Love, Ms. Jeannie:-)
