Happy Friday my friends! Summer is here! Another school year is over and temperatures keep rising especially here in beautiful Orlando.  Not sure how hot it may be right now where you live but being outside for too long is starting to get a little uncomfortable and challenging here (at least for me!).   Yes, I am a “wuss” when it comes to dealing with hot, humid weather.  I would much rather stay inside with the A/C or under a tree in the shade all day long 🙂 It’s no wonder why I was low in Vitamin D!  And talking about staying cool and dealing with super hot temperatures, today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite pieces to wear during this season, the shirtdress!  This easygoing, button-up and super comfortable piece has always been a closet staple especially during the summer season. If you prefer the traditional shirt silhouette (like I do) you can wear it two ways, either cinched or loose like I wore mine for this post.  These pictures were actually taken in Knoxville, TN about a month and a half ago.  It was a beautiful warm day and not wearing anything too tight felt really good and super comfortable especially for sightseeing around the city.  I chose to wear mine with a pair of block heel sandals to achieve a dressier look but I could have easily worn slip-on sneakers or sandals for a more laid back feel. The Tory Burch bag is one of the most practical and versatile handbags I have ever owned.  Seriously! I have had it for about a year now and I use it all the time.  It is spacious, easy to carry and goes with almost everything I wear.  I have taken it with me on work trips and you have no idea how much stuff I have put in it.  From my laptop to walking shoes, I have used this bag so much and it still looks like new. The nylon material is super durable and very easy to clean.  I just wipe it with a wet cloth and it ends up looking like new.

Anyways, I really hope you have an amazing weekend and that everything in your life manifests the way your heart wants.  And just know that sometimes challenging experiences open the door to opportunities that can take us down the path we need to be to achieve our most wanted desires.

¡Felíz Viernes a todos¡ El verano ya esta aquí, otro año escolar ya ha terminado y las temperaturas continuan subiendo especialmente aquí en Orlando, FL.  No estoy segura cuán caliente pueda estar en estos momentos donde ustedes viven pero el estar afuera por mucho tiempo aquí donde yo vivo ya se siente un poco incómodo e imposible (¡al menos para mí!). Sí, soy super flojita cuando se trata de lidiar con temperaturas altas y muy humedas.  Prefiero quedarme adentro donde hay aire acondicionado ó debajo de un árbol, en la sombra todo el día 🙂 ¡No es de extrañar por que estába baja de Vitamina D!  Y hablando de temperaturas altas y mantenernos frescos, hoy quiero enseñarles una de mis piezas favoritas a llevar durante esta temporada; el “SHIRTDRESS”.  Esta llevadera, abotonada y muy cómoda pieza siempre ha sido un elemento básico del armario especialmente durante la temporada de verano. Si como yó prefieres el de estilo tradicional podrías entonces llevarlo de dos maneras; amarrado en la cintura o suelto como lo llevé yo para el escrito de hoy.  De por cierto, las fotos fueron tomada durante mi visita a Knoxville, TN hace aproximadamente un més y medio atrás.  Era un día caliente y muy hermoso y el no llevar ropa apretada me hizo sentir super bien y muy cómoda especialmente para caminar por la ciudad.  Escojí combinar el vestido ó shirtdress con un par de sandalias con tacón en bloque para así lograr un look más de vestir pero fácilmente lo pude haber combinado con sneakers ó sandalias sin tacones para entonces lograr un look más casual. El bolso Tory Burch es una de las carteras mas practicas y versátiles que yo he obtenido.  ¡En serio!  La he tenido conmigo desde ya hace un año y la uso todo el tiempo.  Es muy espaciosa, fácil de llevar y básicamente vá bien con todo lo que me pongo.  La he llevado conmigo en viajes de trabajo y no tienen idea cuantas cosas he colocado dentro de ella.  Desde mi laptop hasta mis zapatillas para caminar, la pobre cartera ha recibido tanto abuso de mi parte y todavía luce como nueva.  El material de nylon es super duradero y muy fácil de limpiar.  Solamente le paso un paño humedo y termina luciendo de maravilla. 

De todos modos, espero que pasen un fín de semana maravilloso y que todo en sus vidas se manifieste de la manera que sus corazones lo desean.  Y recuerden que muchas veces las situaciones difíciles  abren las puertas a oportunidades que nos llevan al camino hacia alcanzar lo que más queremos.
