Hello beauties! Today is a “red lips” day for me. Yes, I am wearing a bold and bright pout!  As you may have already noticed, I rarely wear red lipstick.  I always stay in the nude and lighter side of the color spectrum when it comes to choosing a color for my lips.  For a while I couldn’t understand why  I didn’t feel drawn to  wearing such a pretty color until not long ago when I finally realized that it had very much to do with my very own personality and the way I grew up being.   I have always been a very neutral person who doesn’t like conflict  and consequently a  people pleaser.  Growing up  I found it very challenging to voice my opinion if it didn’t match others just because I wanted to blend in with the crowd without being noticed and also to make others happy.  But not anymore! Life is too short to  waste time trying to meet others expectations and not doing what feels right and true to myself. Also, being this way is way too exhausting.  I  now choose to be  me,  express who I am, do what I like and what I want.  I no longer worry about what others my think or say about me as long as I am doing what makes me happy and makes me feel  good.  So today, as you can see, I am wearing bright and bold red lips to let the world know that I am now free from self imposed insecurities and worrying about being judged or not liked.  I am wearing red lips to celebrate  life,  our very individual passions and our right to be happy and do what we love.  Today is my  very own “Wear Red Lips” day:-)

I am also wearing a very comfy shearling collar faux suede jacket I got from an online store I like very much, a black striped turtle neck, skinny jeans and floral heels. I actually wore this outfit (without the jacket as it is not yet cold enough here in FL) to go to the Enrique Iglesias concert on Tuesday night.  It was super fun and he is actually super adorable:-)  Have a blessed Thursday my beautiful friends! ¡Hola bellezas! Hoy fué mi día de llevar labios rojos. ¡Sí! ¡Estoy llevando una boca llamativa y brillante!  Como ya se habrán dado cuenta, casi nunca llevo el color rojo en mis labios.  Siempre me quedo en el lado neutral  y más claro de la esquema de colores cuando se trata de escojer un color para ellos. Nunca logré entender el porqué no me sentía  atraída a llevar tan bello color hasta no hace mucho tiempo que descubrí que tenía que ver con mi personalidad y con la forma en que  me criaron.  Siempre he sido una persona muy neutral.  No me agradan los conflictos y me gusta complacer a la gente.  Cuando era más joven se me hacía muy  difícil expresar mi opinión si no íba de acuerdo con la opinión de los demás.  Siempre buscába llevarme con todo el mundo evitando llamar la atención para así mantener a todo el mundo contento.  ¡Pero ya no!  La vida es muy corta como para desperdiciar el tiempo cumpliendo las expectativas de otros sin hacer lo que se me hace correcto.   Además, el ser de esta manera es muy agotador.  Ahora elijo ser yo, expresar quién soy, hacer lo que me agrada y deseo hacer.  Ya no me preocupa lo que otros puedan pensar ó decir de mí tanto y como lo que yo me encuentre haciendo me haga sentir felíz y bien conmigo misma.  Así que hoy, como ya pueden ver, estoy llevando unos llamativos y brillantes labios rojos para así dejarles saber que ahora me encuentro libre de las inseguridades  que yo misma me he impuesto y que ya no me preocupa  que me juzguen  y no agradarle a todo el mundo.  Hoy llevo los labios rojos para celebrar la vida, nuestras  pasiones únicas y nuestro derecho a ser felíz  y hacer lo que más amamos.  Hoy es mi día especial de llevar los labios rojos:-)

También estoy llevando un abrigo de imitación de gamuza con interior de cabello de oveja que compré en una tienda online que me gusta mucho,  una camisa con cuello tipo tortuga, mahones tipo skinny y unos tacones con estampado de flores.  De por cierto me puse este conjunto para ir al concierto de Enrique Iglesias este martes pasado.  Me divertí  muchísimo y Enrique está super guapo:-)  Que pasen un Jueves muy lleno de bendiciones mis bellos amigos.  Cariñosamente, Ms. Jeannie.
