ENGLISH/ESPAÑOLOne of the reasons I enjoy having this blog is because it gives me the opportunity to express my creative side with everything I love. It allows me to write about anything and everything I may be feeling inspired by and play dress up with my very own clothes. It also opens the doors for me to connect with wonderful people from all over the world, read their stories and learn from them but most importantly, this blog is the place where I get to play my very own music, sing the songs inside my soul and just be happy being myself. And speaking about being creative, today I decided to re-create a look I saw on a magazine a few weeks ago that showcases a popular military style jacket I frequently spotted on the runways of Milan and New York. The tulle skirt is from last year and I bought it at an online store I like very much that carries a wide variety of beautiful skirts (in case you are a skirt lover like me!). I also chose to wear my favorite pair of reading glasses from the Betsy Johnson eyewear line (I found them at my local TJ Maxx!) that I can’t seem to stop wearing, not only because I can’t see anything up close but because I have gotten so many compliments about them:-)
Being creative is my music ever since I was a little girl. Not knowing any better, I used to think it was all in my head and that I only needed to pursue the things that “made sense” to my mind and to others instead of what my heart felt it was my true path and purpose. Later on in life, after many years of trials and tribulations and as I got wiser, I finally realized that it isn’t until we find, acknowledge and connect with our true purpose but most importantly, that we decide to pursue it, that we ultimately experience self-realization and true happiness. I know this may sound like something that could only happen in “fairy tale” kind of stories especially if you are going through challenging times in your life. But from my very own experience ( and if you know my story you will understand) I can assure you that if we don’t make the time to find and connect with our true purpose and make the CHOICE to pursue it, we will never get to unwrap and enjoy the precious gifts that God have been holding and saving for us all of our lives. Life is the party where we all get to play the music we have resonating inside ourselves but it is ultimately our choice and within our power to just DO IT. Have a marvelous week! Love you all!

Una de las razones por las que disfrúto mucho tener un blog es porque me brinda la oportunidad de expresar mi lado creativo haciendo todo lo que me gusta. Me permite escribir sobre cualquier cosa y todo aquello que me inspira y también crear looks diferentes y divertidos utilizando mi propia ropa. También me abre las puertas a conocer gente maravillosa de todas las partes del mundo, leer sus historias y aprender de ellas pero mas importante que nada, este blog es el lugar donde yo logro tocar mi propia música, cantar las canciones de mi alma y ser felíz siendo yo misma. Y hablando de ser creativos, hoy escojí recrear un look que ví unas semanas atrás en una revista muy conocida que incluye una chaqueta de estilo militar muy popular que ví a menudo en las pasarelas de Nueva York y Milán. La falda de tul es del año pasado y la conseguí en una tienda online que me gusta mucho por que ofrece una variedad amplia de diferentes tipos de falda (en caso de que te gusten las faldas tanto como me fascinan a mí). También escojí llevar mis espejuelos favoritos de leer de la marca Betsy Johnson (¡los encontré de pura casualidad en TJ Maxx!) y que no dejo de utilizar. No solo porque no veo de cerca sin ellos, sino por que también han recibido un montón de elogios:-)
El ser creativa ha sido mi música desde que era una niñita. Sin saber nada mejor, pensaba que solo era una ilusión dentro de me cabeza y que yo solo debía perseguir las cosas que solo le hacían sentido a mí mente y a los demás y no lo que me corazón me dictaba que era mi verdadero camino y propósito. Más tarde en la vida, después de muchas pruebas y tribulaciones y ganar más sabiduría, finalmente me dí cuenta de que no es hasta que encotramos, reconocemos y conectamos con nuestro verdadero propósito pero mas importante que nada, que lo perseguimos, que entoces logramos experimentar autorrealization y verdadera felicidad. Sé que esto puede sonar como algo que solamente podría suceder en cuentos de adas, especialmente si te encuentras pasando por momentos difíciles en tu vida. Pero basado en mi propia experiencia (y si conoces mi historia podrías entender mejor) les aseguro que si no sacamos tiempo para descubrir nuestras verdaderas pasiones y propósito pero más importante que nada, si no escojemos perseguirlos, nunca lograremos desenvolver y disfrutar los regalos que Dios ha estado cargando y guardando para nosotros toda nuestra vida. La vida es la fiesta donde a todos se nos brinda la oportunidad de tocar la música que llevamos por dentro pero es nuestra decisión y está en nuestro poder el escojer hacerlo. ¡Que tengan una semana maravillosa! ¡Los quiero un montón!
