Happy Friday wonderful people! It is Friday again, October is almost over (I can’t believe it!) and the Holiday season is around the corner (including my birthday!) and I am already thinking about all the Christmas movies I am going to watch and also creating my Christmas tree décor. Oh yes! This year I am starting early with all my decorating and I am going to enjoy every minute of the experience without any unnecessary stress. And don’t worry! I will be taking lots of pictures and sharing them with all of you:-)
Today I am wearing an outfit I have been wanting to try on since the summer. On an earlier post I talked about transitioning summer pieces into fall with the art of layering and today I am showing you how we can make a summery neck tie blouse the perfect layer piece to wear during the fall and winter seasons. Wearing long sleeve shirts or blouses under short sleeved dresses and tops is a great and very practical way to maximize our wardrobe and at the same time have lots of fun just being creative. As you can see, I chose to accessorize with my burgundy bag just because I felt like pairing red and burgundy together. I have seen this color combination quite frequently at the Milan and New York Fashion Week’s runways and I decided to try it for my blog, my very own runway:-) Hope you all like it!
On another note, I have been reflecting a LOT about my life purpose and the things I want to accomplish in this life experience and one of the realizations I had is that the majority of us don’t pursue the things we want the most in life, not because of lack of time but because of lack of direction. We don’t know where or how to begin the journey and we lose motivation. This is why it is very important to get a notebook (I found a very cute one at TJ Maxx!) and write down all of our thoughts, ideas and goals and everything else we want to do and accomplish. We MUST BE very clear and specific with our writing. And why must we write it down? Because by doing it, we externalize our thoughts and desires and give ourselves the opportunity to see them from a different angle. We also allow our subconscious mind to take it all in and connect with the creative force that is within ourselves as well as everywhere and always willing to manifest for us all that with love and faith we ask. So my dear friends grab your favorite notebook and start writing it all down! I already got mine and I can’t seem to stop writing:-) Have a blessed weekend!
¡Felíz Viernes gente maravillosa! Es Viernes otra vez, el més de Octubre ya casi se acaba (¡no lo puedo creer!), la época festiva está a la vuelta de la esquina (¡incluyendo mi cumpleaños!) y me encuentro yo pensando en todas las películas navideñas que voy a ver y como decoraré mi árbol. ¡Oh, sí! Este año empiezo a decorar súper temprano y voy a disfrutar cada minuto de la experiencia al máximo y sin ningún estrés. No se preocupen que tomaré muchas fotos para compartirlas con todos ustedes:-)
Hoy les presento un look que llevo queriendo tratar desde el verano. En un post anterior les hablé de como transicionar piezas de verano hacia el otoño con el arte de vestir en capas y hoy les quiero mostrar como hacer de una blusa de verano que se amarra al cuello la mejor pieza para llevar durante las temporadas de otoño e invierno. El llevar blusas de manga larga debajo de vestidos y camisas de manga corta o sin mangas es una excelente y muy práctica manera de maximizar nuestro armario a la misma vez que nos divertimos siendo súper creativos. Como pueden ver, escojí llevar mi cartera nueva que compré para el otoño para combinar el color rojo con el burdeos como así lo he visto mucho hacer en las pasarelas famosas. ¡Espero les guste y que logren tratar el look como mejor les parezca!
Cambiando de tema, les quiero decir que he estado reflexionando mucho acerca de mi propósito de vida y de todas las cosas que deseo alcanzar en esta experiencia humana y una de las realizaciones que tuve es que la majoría de nosotros escojemos el no perseguir lo que más queremos y deseamos en la vida, no por falta de tiempo, sino por falta de dirección. No sabemos donde y como empezar la travesía y entonces perdemos la motivación. Es por eso que es muy importante escribir en una libreta, de una manera bien clara y específica, todo lo que queremos lograr y hacer en la vida. ¿Y por qué? Porque cuando lo escribimos, externalizamos nuestros deseos y nos damos la oportunidad de verlo todo desde un ángulo diferente. Le permitimos a nuestra mente subconsciente absorberlo todo y conectarse con la fuerza divina y creadora que todos llevamos por dentro, se encuentra en todas partes y que siempre está a la dispocisión de manifestar todo lo que con amor y fé pedimos. Así que mi querido amigo, coge tu libreta favorita y comienza a escribir todo lo que tu corazón desea lograr alcanzar. Ya yo tengo la mía (¡la conseguí en TJ Maxx!) y no paro de escribir en ella. Que tengan todos un bendecido fín de semana:-)
