Letting go and literally FROZEN…

Hello beautiful friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving day filled with lots of love, peace and joyful moments. Today I am sharing pictures taken during my visit to Park City, Utah last week. It was snowing that day and very cold but we decided to take some pictures while my daughter Andrea had fun playing with the snow. We are Floridians, so seeing snow falling from the skies was a huge deal. Andrea got to make a mini snow man and many snow angels on the ground. While getting the pictures taken she decided to throw snow balls at me, so as you can see in the pictures the photo shooting ended up in a snow ball fight. I didn’t have gloves on so my hands were FROZEN but watching her have so much fun with the snow helped me let go of focusing on the discomfort and simply enjoy such a blessed moment. Letting go is something I continue practicing more as I advance in this journey called life. Not only is it super refreshing and super liberating but it also allows me to connect with life and be guided every step through my divine path. To let go is a choice we make and an attitude. It is knowing and believing that we have all it takes to achieve anything we want . And what to let go? Choosing what to let go is a personal matter but I believe we must let go of anything that is holding us back. I personally choose to let go of struggle (the one I create with my very own mind), of being a victim and finding excuses for not pursuing my passions and what I love. I let go of insecurities, the fear of being judged or not liked by others for whom I truly am. I finally let go of negativity, self doubt and self imposed limitations and WELCOME with an open heart the pure LOVE, self acceptance and inspiration I always see through my beautiful daughter’s eyes.

¡Hola mis queridos amigos! Espero que hayan pasado un día de Acción de Gracias maravilloso lleno de mucho amor, paz y momentos alegres. Hoy estoy compartiendo con todos ustedes fotos que fueron tomadas durante me visita a Park City, Utah la semana pasada. Estába nevando ese día y también hacía mucho frio pero de todos modos decidímos tomar las fotos mientras mi hija Andrea se divertía jugando con la nieve. Somos de la Florida así que el ver nieve caer de los cielos fué un algo maravilloso. Andrea tuvo la oportunidad de hacer un pequeño hombre de nieve y también varios angelitos en el suelo. Mientras me tomaban las fotos Andrea decidió comenzar a tirarme bolas de nieve así que ya puedieron ver, la sesión de fotos terminó en una pelea de bolas de nieve. Yo no llevaba guantes por lo que tenía las manos super congeladas pero el ver a mi hija divertirse tanto me ayudo dejár ir el enfoque en la incomodidad y dolor que sentía Y disfrutar tan bendecido momento. Dejar ir es algo que continúo practicando más mientras avanzo en esta jornada llamada vida. No solamente es super refrescante y muy libertador pero también me permite conectar con la vida y ser guiada por cada paso a traves de mi camino divino. El dejár ir es una opción que tomamos y también una actitud. Es saber y creer que poseemos todo lo necesario para alcazar lo que mas deseamos. ¿Y qué dejár ir? El escojer lo que debemos dejár ir es un asunto muy personal pero pienso que deberíamos dejár ir todo aquello que nos aguanta y nos impide progresar. Yo personalmente elijo dejar ir la lucha (la que creo con mi mente), el ser una victima y siempre buscar excusas para no perseguir mis pasiones y lo que mas me gusta. Yo dejo ir todas mis inseguridades, el temor a ser juzgada y de no ser del agrado de otros por quién realmente soy. Yo finalmete dejo ir la negatividad, las dudas sobre mi misma y todas las limitaciones autoimpuestas y doy la BIENVENIDA con corazón abierto a el amor puro, aceptación propia e inspiración divina que veo at traves de los hermosos ojos de mi hija.

A plaid shirt, jeggings and thinking big…

Hello beauties! I really hope your weekend is going awesome and that you find yourself filled with lots of enthusiasm, love and drive to follow your dreams. It is my personal goal to pursue mine and follow the path and direction my heart wants me to go. Just know that there are always going to be people or situations that will try to discourage you or bring you down but it is up to you to allow it. It is important to know that we can’t control what others say or do but it is up to us how to react to it. So let’s take charge of our lives and emotions, surpass all of our fears and continue moving forward without looking back. I personally keep a mental picture of what I want and where I want to be and always look within for divine guidance and inspiration. Visualization is a great tool for keeping ourselves focused and driven so let’s go ahead and start visualizing everything we want not only for ourselves but also for others because what we wish for others we also bring to ourselves:-)

For today’s post I am wearing a pair of high-waisted jeggings and a plaid flannel shirt I got from an H&M store right after we landed in Salt Lake City, Utah. I needed to get a pair of snow gloves for my daughter before heading to the mountains so we decided to stop by a very nice mall in the middle of downtown. I don’t normally wear jeggings and needless to say high-waisted but these caught my eye and I was on vacation so, why not? Right? It is really cold here and we (the Floridians) got to see snow so we are all very happy especially my daughter:-) Hope you all like it! Love and blessings to you all, Ms. Jeannie.

¡Hola bellezas! Espero que tu fín de semana esté yendo de maravillas y que te encuentres lleno de mucho entusiasmo, amor y energía para seguir tus sueños. Es mi meta personal el persiguir los mios y seguir el camino y dirección que mi corazón quiere que yo siga. Ten en cuenta que siempre habrá personas ó situaciones que tratarán de desanimarte o derribarte pero está en tí el permitirlo. Es importante saber que no podemos controlar lo que otros dicen ó hacen pero sí está en nosotros como reaccionamos a ello. Así que tomemos control de nuestras vidas y emociones, superemos nuestros temores y continuemos moviéndonos hacia adelante sin mirar hacia atrás. Yo personalmente mantengo una imagen mental de lo que deseo y a donde quiero llegar y siempre busco dentro de mi para encontrar dirección e inspiración divina. La visualización es una muy buena herramienta para mantenernos enfocados y en camino así que comencemos todos a visualizar todo lo que mas queremos no solo para nosotros pero también para los demás ya que lo que deseamos para otros también atraemos para nosotros mismos:-)

Para el escrito de hoy estoy llevando un par de “jeggings” de cintura alta y una camisa de tartán que compré en la tienda H&M luego que aterrizamos en el aeropuerto de Salt Lake City en el estado de Utah. Tenía que comprale a mi hija unos guantes para la nieve antes de continuar nuestra ruta hacia las montañas por lo que decidimos visitar un centro comercial muy lindo en el centro de la ciudad. Yo normalmente no me pongo “jeggings” y mucho menos de cintura alta pero estas que llevo hoy llamaron mucho mi atención y como estába de vacaciones me dije a mi misma; Y, ¿por qué no? Está bastante frío aquí y logramos ver nieve (nosotros los Floridianos) así que estamos todos super contentos, especialmente mi hija:-) Espero les haya gustado a todos. Cariñosamente, Ms. Jeannie.
