Happy end of the week beautiful souls! It is Friday and I am really excited that the weekend is here and I have nothing else to do but rest and just be home (I have many chores to do but that is ok:-)).  Today,  I wanted to share with you an outfit I wore last weekend while visiting the city of Philadelphia.   I found this floral long shirt hidden in my closet while packing for the trip and decided to take it to Philly with me.   I chose to pair the top with my all time favorite and very old flares to create the 70’s inspired look I am loving very much this season.  In my opinion, flared leg jeans are very flattering and can look amazing on any body type.  They make your legs seem extra long and at the same time they create an hourglass look.  I have to admit I am super obsessed with this popular jean’s style and even though skinnies have always been at the top of my “to wear” list,  I am more than ready to rock the bell bottoms this entire summer season.  And what about you? ¡Felíz final de la semana bellas almas!  Yá es Viernes y me siento más que emocionada de que el fín de semana ya llegó y no tengo otra cosa más que hacer que descansar y pasarla en mi casa (tengo muchas tareas que hacer pero no importa:-)).  Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un atuendo que me puse el fín de semana pasado mientras visitaba la ciudad de Philadelphia.  Encontré esta camisa larga con estampado floral bien escondida en mi closet mientras empacaba para el viaje y decidí llevarla conmigo a Philly.  Escojí combinarla con mis favoritos y tambien super viejos mahones de piernas acampanadas para así crear el look de los 70’s que tanto me lleva gustando esta temporada.  En mi opinión, los mahones tipo “bell bottoms” son muy halagadores y pueden lucir bien en cualquier tipo de cuerpo.  Hacen ver las piernas extra largas a la misma vez que crean una figura de reloj de arena. Tengo que admitir que me encuentro muy obsesionada con este estilo de pantalón y a pesar de que los de estilo “skinny” siempre han estado en el tope de mi lista, estoy más que “super ready” para lucirlos durante toda la temporada de verano.  ¿Y tú?  ¿Estas lista para lucir los “bell bottoms”?

A beautiful sunset by the bay…

Happy Saturday my sweet friends! Today I am in Sarasota, FL.  My daughter’s college crew team is racing today and we came over to support her and cheer for the University of Florida Gators.  Sarasota is a city on the west coast of Florida and only a short 2 1/2 hrs drive from Orlando.  The sunset and beautiful beaches here are breathtaking and worthwhile to see.  We actually drove to this beautiful town yesterday evening just in time to catch the sun setting along with a large group of locals who always seem to come to this hidden spot by the bay .  To me the sunset symbolizes the end of a journey and the perfect time to take a break and reflect.  It symbolizes the opportunity we all have to forgive ourselves and forgive others leaving the past behind.  Watching the sunset here in Sarasota was a very inspiring and rejuvenating experience and I am very thankful for such precious gift.  Thanks for visiting and have a beautiful day! ¡Felíz Sábado a todos!  Hoy me encuentro en Sarasota, FL.  El equipo de remo de la Universidad de mi hija está compitiendo hoy y vinimos a brindarle apoyo a ella y a animar a los Gators de la Universidad de Florida.  Sarasota es una ciudad en la costa oeste de Florida que se encuentra a solo dos horas y media de Orlando.  La puesta del sol tanto com sus hermosas playas son muy asombrosas y dignas de admirar.  De por cierto, Dave y yo llegamos manejando ayer en la tarde justo a tiempo para apreciar el sol ponerse junto a un grupo de personas locales que parecen siempre venir a este lugar cerca de la bahía.  Para mí la puesta del sol simboliza el final de una jornada y el tiempo perfecto para tomar un descanso y refleccionar.  Simboliza la oportunidad que tenemos todos para perdonarmos a nosotros mismos y también perdonar a los demás dejando el pasado atrás.  El observar la puesta del sol aquí en Sarasota fué una experiencia muy inspiradora y rejuvenecedora y me siento muy agradecida por tal precioso obsequio.  Gracias por visitar mi blog:-)  ¡Que pasen un hermoso día!  XOXO, J
