Chic Summer Look…

Collage4BE DSC_6101E DSC_6162E

DSC_6106EHot days are already here so looking chic and fashionable while dressing up appropriately for the warm weather can be a challenging task. Especially, when going out to a casual dinner or meeting friends at night. This is why I decided to put on my creative hat and come up with a look that screamed “welcome summer” and still looked chic and elegant. I wanted to keep everything simple and neutral so instead of adding bright colors, I opted for printed black and white shorts paired with a sleeveless white top. In order to add some spice and glamour to the scene, I added a pair of silver stilettos and a black clutch. Below are links where you can find the shoes, the shorts and the top. Hope you all like it and if you do feel free to share:-) Have a wonderful evening and sweet dreams. Love, Ms. Jeannie.

The outfits I put together are for your inspiration and you may be able to find similar pieces in your closet to achieve the look.   However, to provide you with more options, I have included below the links to the same or similar pieces in case you are interested.

The pink blazer…

Today I wanted to show you one of the many ways you can wear a semi-cropped jacket or blazer. Not only, is it a piece that you can wear with its respective matching bottom as a coordinated set, but you can also get creative and come up with a more casual but polished look by paring it with cropped skinny jeans and a pair of cute strappy heels. As shown below, I kept the color of the top neutral to balance the bright pink color of the jacket; however, you can apply the same concept if the color of the jacket lies in the neutral end of the color scheme. I chose to add more fun to the picture by adding a bold “bib” necklace and an edgy oversized envelope clutch. So now, get your jacket out of its comfort zone and have fun with it:-) Hope you all enjoy today’s post.  Blessings to you all! Love, Ms. Jeannie.
