Happy Friday my beautiful friends!  Today is the end of my work week and I am more than excited for the busy and amazing weekend ahead of me.  I have family visiting from out of town and a lot of packing  to do (going on vacation soon!) and I am feeling very thankful for everyone and everything in my life including all of  you:-).  And to celebrate this incredible and very uplifting joy I am feeling inside (I think my hormones are finally getting aligned with the Cosmo or something like that!) I wanted to show you these super comfy and eye-catching pieces I scored at TJ Maxx the other day for just $14.00!!!!  Yes! You heard it right! I only paid $ 14.00 for both  the top and the shorts and I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase.

I am sure for many of you shopping at discounted stores makes you feel like a kid in a candy store but for others it can be a very stressful experience and I can honestly relate with you on that but don’t let those overwhelming feelings hold you back from finding a great bargain especially in the clothing department.  Stores like TJ Maxx and Marshalls do sell name brands and designer goods and not all of them are irregular items and to help you make the shopping experience a more enjoyable event I want to share with you some tips I find super helpful.

How to shop at TJ Maxx and Marshalls

Have an open mind – Don’t go expecting to find that specific dress or skirt you need for a wedding or event you may have in your calendar.  Instead, go with a general idea of the pieces you need to complement your closet (solid color tops, shorts, jackets. etc.).  And just because they don’t advertise specific designers in their ads, it doesn’t mean you won’t find your favorite ones at super discounted prices.

Shop on Wednesday – I found out that this is when TJ Maxx generally marks down their merchandise and when the store seems to be the more organized.  If you can manage to take some time off from work I strongly recommend you go in the morning.  Beating the crowds will not only increase your opportunities to find what you want but will also be less stressful.

Get to know some of the employees that work in the store – If you have a TJ Maxx or Marshalls nearby your home or work that you happen to visit often, get acquainted with the friendly staff that work at the store. They can tell you more about the new merchandise that may have arrived:-)

Have patience and a good mood, you will need it!

¡Felíz Viernes mis queridos amigos!  Hoy es el final de mi semana de trabajo y me encuentro mas que emocionada for el maravilloso y muy ocupado fín de semana que me espera.  Tengo familia que me viene a visitar y mucho que empacar (¡me voy de vacaciones pronto!) y me siento muy agradecida por todo y por todos en mi vida incluyendote a tí:-).  Y para celebrar esta alegría increíble y muy edificante que estoy sintiendo por dentro (creo que mis hormonas finalmente se han alineado con el Cosmo ó algo similar) quiero enseñarles estas dos piezas super cómodas y muy llamativas que conseguí en TJ Maxx el otro día por solo $14.00.  ¡Sí¡ ¡Lo escuchastes bien!  Solo pagué $14.00 por ambos, la camisa y los pantalones cortos y no puedo sentirme más contenta con la compra.

Estoy segura que para muchos de ustedes el comprar en tiendas de descuento les hace sentir como un niño en una tienda de dulces pero para otros podría ser una experiencia muy estresante y agotadora (lo puedo entender perfectamente) pero no permitan que tales sentimientos abrumadores les prohíba lograr encontrar una tremenda ganga especialmente en el departamento de ropa.  Tiendas como TJ Maxx y Marshalls si venden mercancía de marca y diseñadores y no toda la ropa es irregular como muchos piensan y para ayudarles  a que la experiencia de compras sea un evento más placentero aquí comparto con ustedes unos de los consejos que yo personalmente encuentro de mucha ayuda.

Como comprar en TJ Maxx y Marshalls

Ten una mente abierta – No vayas de compras pensando que vas a encontrar el traje o la falda perfecta para la boda ó evento especial que tienes en tu calendario.  Por el contrario lleva contigo una idea general de las piezas de ropa que más necesitas para complementar tu armario (camisas en colores sólidos, pantalones cortos, chaquetas, etc.).  Y sólo porque no anuncien marcas específicas en sus campañas de mercadeo no significa que no puedas encontrar una que otra pieza hecha por uno de tus diseñadores favoritos.

Visita la tienda los Miercoles – Me enteré que es cuando TJ Maxx generalmente rebaja su mercancía y cuando las tiendas parecen estar más organizadas.  Si puedes lograr escaparte un ratito de el trabajo les recomiendo fuertemente que vayan en la mañana.  El evitar los revoluces de gente no solo les aumenta las posibilidades de encontrar lo que estás buscando pero también les vá a ser menos estrésico.

Llega a conocer algunos de los empleados que trabajan en la tienda – Si tienes un TJ Maxx ó Marshalls cerca de tu casa ó trabajo que sueles visitar a menudo, familiarizate con el personal amigable que trabaja en la tienda.   Ellos te podrían informar más acerca de la mercancia nueva que acaba de llegar:-)
