The pink blazer…

DSC_5972EDSC_5992EDSC_6043DSC_6063E

Today I wanted to show you one of the many ways you can wear a semi-cropped jacket or blazer. Not only, is it a piece that you can wear with its respective matching bottom as a coordinated set, but you can also get creative and come up with a more casual but polished look by paring it with cropped skinny jeans and a pair of cute strappy heels. As shown below, I kept the color of the top neutral to balance the bright pink color of the jacket; however, you can apply the same concept if the color of the jacket lies in the neutral end of the color scheme. I chose to add more fun to the picture by adding a bold “bib” necklace and an edgy oversized envelope clutch. So now, get your jacket out of its comfort zone and have fun with it:-) Hope you all enjoy today’s post.  Blessings to you all! Love, Ms. Jeannie.

The outfits I put together are for your inspiration and you may be able to find similar pieces in your closet to achieve the look.   However, to provide you with more options, I have included below the links to the same or similar pieces in case you are interested.

The pencil skirt…

Collage

As you may all know, pencil skirts have been around for a very long time. No matter the body type, they can flatter any figure by accentuating our God given curves. The pencil skirt has infinite styling possibilities so, investing in one that really fits you well is something I highly recommend. Pencil skirts are timeless, feminine and very elegant. So, if you are on the search for practical wardrobe pieces adding a couple pencil skirts to your closet would keep your goal “right on target”. You can find a pencil skirt pretty much anywhere you shop; however, based on my own personal experience you may want to take the time to find the one that fits you like a glove or invest in a good tailor in order to achieve that perfect “hip-hugging” look we all love and trust me, it will be well worth it.  Hope you all enjoy this post. Have a blessed night and sweet dreams:-) Love, Ms. Jeannie.
