Happy Thursday my loves! I can’t believe December is already here and that Christmas Day is around the corner (OMG!) and I can’t seem to keep up with all the Christmas movies I have recorded waiting for me to watch.  Not sure about you, but I LOVE Christmas movies.  They get me in the best mood, feeling super inspired and craving lots of pumpkin spice lattes but most importantly, I truly enjoy the time I spend watching them together with my family:-)

And speaking about being in “the perfect mood” and the holidays, today I felt the desire to remind you that nobody’s life is “perfect”.  We all go through moments when we feel the entire world is falling on us and everything in our life seems to go in the wrong direction.  Sounds familiar! Doesn’t it?  Based on my very own personal experience I can assure that the first step to move forward through situations like that is to acknowledge the fact that everything in life has a divine purpose.  The next step is to remain present as much as we can so that we don’t get pulled by all the dark ideas created by our frustrated mind.  By staying present all the negative thoughts racing in our head will eventually lose power and momentum allowing our body to feel more calm and at peace.  We become the observer and we just let them be.  We bring love to all the unpleasant emotions our entire body may be experiencing knowing that everything is going to pass.  And most importantly, we stay strong and true to ourselves without losing sight of what our hearts and souls really want.

Remember that life is like an university.  It is an opportunity for us to learn, grow and become stronger both spiritually and mentally. It is not our job or our responsibility to ask why situations happen but instead to have faith and see the positive and lessons to be learned.  We make the choice to be the students and not the victims.

Today’s outfit is all about expressing who I am and how I am feeling these days.  It encompasses a variety of neutral colors and trends I love and that together create an unique look that speaks by itself.  The tulle skirt from Lulu’s symbolizes the girly vibes within me.  The studded bag from JustFab represents the tough and “I am invincible” attitude I choose to embrace when I accept the fact that GOD’s loving energy is always within me.  The hat, vest and animal print shoes in my opinion add fun and chic-ness and represent the happiness and excitement I am feeling right now not only because Christmas Day is around the corner but because and I am alive, I am free and I am ME:-)

¡Felíz Jueves mis amores!  No puedo creer que yá estamos en Diciembre y que el día de Navidad está a la vuelta de la esquina (¡Dios mio!) y todavía no logro ponerme al día con todas las películas de Navidad que tengo grabadas y que siguen esperando por mi para ser vistas.  No estoy segura de ustedes pero a mí me fascinan las películas de Navidad.  Me ponen en un estado de ánimo maravilloso,  súper inspirada y a desear muchos lattes de especias y calabaza pero mas importante que nada también disfruto mucho del tiempo que paso viéndolas junto con mi familia.

Y hablando de tener un buen estado de ánimo y de la época festiva, hoy sentí el deseo de recordarles que la vida de nadie es perfecta.  Todos experimentamos momentos en donde sentimos que el mundo se nos quiere caer encima y que toda nuestra vida parece ir en la dirección incorrecta.  ¡Les suena familiar!,  ¿verdad que sí?  Basado en mi propia experiencia les puedo asegurar que el primer paso para avanzar  a través de situaciones como esas es el aceptar el hecho de que todo en la vida tiene un propósito divino.  El próximo paso es el mantenernos viviendo en el momento presente tanto como podamos para así no dejarnos llevar por todas las ideas abrumadores creadas por nuestra  mente frustrada.  El mantenernos en el presente también  ayuda a que todos los pensamientos  negativos que se encuentran corriendo dentro de nuestra cabeza eventualmente pierdan fuerza e impulso así permitiendo que nuestro cuerpo se sienta mas calmado y en paz.  Nos convertimos en el observador y los dejamos que sean.  Traémos amor a todas las emociones desagradables que nuestro cuerpo pueda estar sintiendo sabiendo que todo pronto pasará.  Y más importante que nada, nos mantenemos fuertes y fieles a nosotros mismos sin perder de vista todo lo que nuestros corazones y almas verdaderamente desean.

Recuerda que la vida es una universidad.  Es la oportunidad para nosotros aprender, crecer y llegar a ser fuertes tanto de mente como de espíritu.  No es nuestro  trabajo o responsbilidad preguntar porqué las situaciones suceden sino que nos mantenemos llenos de mucha fé,  viendo lo positivo en todo y buscando las lecciones que se podrían aprender.  Tomamos la decisión de ser estudiantes y NO víctimas.

El conjunto de hoy  representa varios aspectos de como verdaderamente soy yo y de como me he estado sintiendo ultimamente.  El mismo abarca una variedad de colores neutrales y tendencias que me fascinan mucho y crean un look único que habla por si mismo.  La falda de tul de la tienda online Lulu’s simboliza el corazón libre y muy femenino que llevo dentro de mí.  El bolso tachonado de la tienda online JustFab simboliza la actitud fuerte e invencible que yo escojo llevar cuando acepto el hecho de que el poder y amor de Dios siempre está dentro de mí.  El sombrero, el chaleco y los zapatos con estampado animal en mi opinión añaden diversión y “chic-ness” y representan la alegría y emoción que llevo sintiendo en estos últimos días no solo por que el día de Navidad está a la vuelta de la esquina sino porque estoy viva, soy libre y simplemente soy YO:-)
