Finding quality clothes that suit my personal style and usability standards is my primary goal when shopping for any occasion, especially a summer vacation trip. Being able to take with me pieces that don’t need to be ironed (Yes!) and can be suitable for different occasions not only simplifies the packing process but also makes my vacation mornings more easy and enjoyable.  The minute I saw this crispy white top that the Rafaella team sent me, I knew that I was taking it with me on my upcoming and very anticipated summer vacation trip to Italy. Yes! My family and I are traveling to Italy in July and I am more than excited and thankful for this amazing opportunity.  Anyways, I wore the top last Sunday to go to the fresh market in Downtown Orlando and I must say it was super comfortable and passed the machine wash test.  The long denim shorts I actually made myself.  I got a little crafty and decided to turn a pair of skinny jeans I already owned into a pair of long shorts.   To add some edgy-ness to the look I decided to wear a pair of knee high gladiators that I got from Just Fab Online and that I am loving very much.  I added a hat to protect my face from the sun since it was really sunny outside.  I am currently on a treatment to get rid of the melasma (brown spots) I have had on my face for a while and I have to stay away from the sun as much as I can but most importantly, I always have to wear sunscreen.  So yes,  you will see me wearing lots of hats this summer season and I will definitively keep you posted on how the treatment goes.

On another note, de-cluttering my closet continues to be an ongoing process and I will admit, it hasn’t been an easy task.  I am just having a hard time letting go of some things and deciding what to keep and not to keep as my mind is always finding excuses for keeping what I don’t really wear anymore.  Am I the only one going through this?

Encontrar ropa que se adapte a mi estilo de moda y estándares de usabilidad es mi objetivo principal cuando voy de compras para cualquier ocasión, especialmente para un viaje de vacaciones de verano.  El poder llevar conmigo piezas que no necesitan ser planchadas (¡si por favor!) y que me sirvan para más de una salida no solo me facilita el proceso de empacar sino que también hace mis mañanas mas llevaderas y súper fáciles.  Tan pronto ví esta camisa blanco crujiente que el equipo de Rafaella me envió, supe que la llevaría conmigo en mi próximo y muy anticipado viaje de vacaciones a Italia. ¡Sí! Voy con mi familia para Italia el próximo mes de Julio y me siento más que emocionada y muy agradecida por tan maravillosa oportunidad.  De todas formas, me puse la camisa el Domingo pasado para ir al mercado fresco en la ciudad de Orlando y les puedo decir que sí es super comoda y que también pasó la prueba de lavado en máquina.  Los pantalones de mahón tipo bermuda los hize yó.  Me sentí super creativa y decidí convertir un par de mahones largos tipo “skinny” que ya yo tenía en unos cortos de verano.  Para añadir un poco de drama ó “edgy-ness” al look escojí llevar unas sandalias altas tipo gladiador que compré en la tienda online Just Fab y que me fascinan mucho.  Para protejer mi cara de el sol quise llevar puesto un sombrero que ya yo tenía ya que el día estaba muy soleado y bien caliente.  Me encuentro en tratamiento para la melasma (manchas oscuras) que he tenido en mi rostro desde hace ya un tiempo y tengo que mantenerme lejos de el sol lo más que pueda pero mas importante que nada, siempre llevar protector solar. Así que me verán llevando diferentes sombreros esta temporada de verano y también los mantedré informados en cuanto a mi experiencia con el tratamiento para las manchas.

Por otra parte, el re-organizar y limpiar mi closet continúa siendo un proceso continuo y les voy a admitir que no ha sido una tarea fácil.  Se me está haciendo muy difícil deshacerme de algunas cosas y decidir que es lo que debo conservar y lo que tengo que dejar ir ya que mi mente siempre encuentra razones para quedarme con lo que en realidad ya no necesito.  ¿Acaso soy la única con este problema?
